Welcome to Warwick Gardens, an earth-friendly nursery with a focus on fun and quirky annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.
One month after getting married in May 2004, we (owners Jennifer Wardell and Tom Revelle, seen here in our best American Gothic pose) moved to beautiful Warwick to a property that needed some TLC and a barn and greenhouse that needed some serious renovation. Less than a year later, and after a lot of work and much appreciated help from family and friends, we officially opened our doors in May 2005. And the feedback from our customers has been extraordinarily gratifying. Thank you to everyone who has stopped in.

Now in our fourth year, we're confident that Warwick Gardens is a destination worth visiting. Featuring a wide selection of new and unique plant material, earth-friendly and organic soils and fertilizers, quality garden tools, beautiful pots and trellises, copper-roofed birdhouses and other assorted gardenware, Warwick Gardens is a full-service resource for gardening enthusiasts, as well as green thumb wannabees who may need a little guidance.
Jennifer, whose degree is in horticulture, takes pride in her plant selection. Our offerings in the plant kingdom are cutting edge and quirky. One trip through the greenhouse and you're sure to find something fun that you've never seen before. Our perennial selection is also something of note, including native plants and deer resistant varieties. Woodland phlox, epimediums and ferns dominate the shade collection while Echinacea 'Double Decker', Leucanthemum 'Crazy Daisy' and Veronica 'Aztec Gold' represent some of the most interesting variations of old-fashioned favorites.

In addition to all of our unique varieties, we specialize in container gardens because they're both beautiful and easy to care for. Cedar window boxes, massive strawberry jars and moss-lined baskets are only a few of the many containers available in the gift shop, which are available on their own or pre-planted with our custom-designed combinations. Additional offerings include Italian pottery, hand carved statuary, and Spear and Jackson tools.
Because of concerns about the long-term effect of harsh chemicals on the environment and those of us who live here, we work exclusively with earth-friendly fertilizers, soils, pest controls and soil conditioners such as worm castings and seaweed-based products. While we can't yet afford the process of becoming certified organic, we use and sell only natural products -- for our health and yours.
Warwick Gardens also offers small garden design, installation and consulting services for those who need some guidance or just don't have the time to beautify their properties themselves. Our property is also home to many display gardens, some of which are currently under construction, but all of which are open to the public for quiet enjoyment and a peek at the process of organic gardening.
Whether you live in or around Warwick, or are just passing through, we invite you to stop in. At Warwick Gardens, we are passionate about plants and the environment and would love to share that passion with you. See you soon!
